I recently saw the movie, Coco Avant Chanel, and I have a renewed obsession with individuality. The easiest way to personalize an outfit (on a budget) is with accessories. I visited NYC two summers ago with a friend, and we stayed with the talented Amee Carter. She and her friend, Sabrina Bacon, created a headband line, Pas Comme les Moutons, that has been generating a lot of press. The headbands started out as a Sunday afternnoon project and have exploded into a business. Like Coco Chanel's little black dress, the headbands are truely luxurious and speacial because they were created to be loved and worn, not for money.

i saw an advanced screening of coco before chanel and it was INCREDIBLEEE the final scene with the mirrored steps and the suits adn dresses literally had me in a trance for the rest of the week!!!
